Something about them...

Last Tuesday I went with my really good friend, after she was done with school, to get our nails done. Well her filled and mine done. I was so excited to go and this would be the first time I've ever gotten real nails put on!! Only really gotten pedicures and then for prom I got tips put on but by end of the night they pretty much broke off...

Any who, we got them done and they were really long.....I wasn't too happy about that but I figured I just wasn't use to long nails. Once we left I kept looking, messing, tapping my nails I was slowly growing to really like my nails.  I had to finish a speech for the next day and I had to type it......I could not type for poop..(Ok I wasn't use to it and it was really really weird.) But I made it through the whole speech, and the next day. Then Thursday was LINE DANCING!!!!!  I was doing pretty good, though I was picking at my nails and was getting distracted by them but not too bad.  Then something happened (something to do with me becoming a single hottie now.)

Please excuse they chubby fingers....I cracked my knuckles all the time when I was little, now my knuckles are big... This was the result at the end of the night....I was able to pull off two couple day old acrylic nails off both my pinky fingers.  When I'm really upset/nervous/mad/bored/whatever I chew/pick at my nails and also crack my knuckles...another reason why they are big. haha.  I didn't feel a thing when I was doing it too...to be honest I really don't remember much, I just wanted to go home.

You can also see how long my nails are. Then look at my pinky....big difference, I couldn't really take the change.

This is at the end of the next day.  I still kept breaking them off... Work was a little boring. I was getting told by a co-worker to stop picking at my nails. haha  And it was a guy!!! I couldn't help it. I also couldn't do anything....well it was harder...having a good length of nail and dealing with money and recipe paper...

You guessed it, the next day....I ended up trimming them. You have know idea how much relief I had when I cut them.  I don't know if someone who is claustrophobic, after being somewhere really tight for a while then being free to an open area that relief that they are out of the tight spot.... that was the feeling in my fingers! I was amazing, I could do things short nailed people could do again!

This was the same night. I ripped half the nail off. I'm so ashamed, I don't know what to say... Please forgive me.

Now tonight while shopping I finished all my nails, expect my thumb nails. Not sure how long these guys are gonna stay on. I've been picking at them... I'm sure during work will be their resting place.

Though this whole thing I realized I'm just going to be sticking to paint, gel paint, and pedicures. Or if it's possible shorter nails, but that probable won't be anytime soon.

See (talk) to you all soon!

Magical Morning!!!!!

I started my morning off no different than the last. Though I was kind of rushing because I got home at 2 30 in the morning from going to Pennhurst Asylum. I had to leave by eight to get to work at nine. So I rushed around with five hours of sleep in me and left the house.

I'm someone who loves and always has my music turned up in my car no matter what time of day it is. So my music is up and the next thing I know, about a quarter mile before I have to go on the highway, car starts making this weird nose. I turn my radio off to listen and it obviously doesn't sound right.  I tried going a little faster thinking it was just because I was driving slower because of who I was following....Speeding up made it sound worse. Now I call my dad and tell him that my car is making a weird noise and it's now pushing me to the right. He said how I should be fine since I'm still able to drive. (But he didn't know that the sound was still getting worse.)

At this point I am pulled over in a farm tractor garage and I turned my car off and my car starts smoking.  Ahhh. I then told my dad "Ya I'm not driving on the highway, my car is smoking....) and I got out and looked at my tire.....

"Ya I'm not driving anywhere...my tire is off the rim..."  This smelled so bad...Burning rubber. *yuck*

These are the snapchats I took to show everyone.

When my dad got there and was looking at it, he went (tried) to get the tire out and couldn't get the cover off...

By this time I'm late for work and just laughing so much about this whole thing.  (I did call in and tell by leads that I would be late because of this )

This is the selfie for the the situation. Always have to have to have one.  :P  I'm mad but still enjoying it.

These tire are such a waste of rubber. I feel you should just buy a fifth big/normal tire so it doesn't look like this when you are driving.

After that my dad and I drove home so I could switch cars. Got to drive in style, in our Ford Escape. <3
When I got to work I told my leads the whole story and they laughed just as hard as I did/was at this whole thing.  It was such a good morning, everyone one kept saying how much that sucked but I told them when I'm telling you now "P. Paul is falling apart everyday and that's what makes it funny and it's why I love him."
(^ Pontiac, cause my car is a Pontiac Sunfire.)

That is how my week is ending, Thursday - lining dancing, and becoming single...(though that part wasn't too fun.)  Friday - work and then Pennhurst Asylum.  Saturday - car tire coming off it's rim, and work.

Always enjoy life, turn the bad things into something funny, and be thankful it wasn't anything worse. (Like me driving on the highway with this happening.)  Sorry I'm sounding like a cookie cutter saying (isn't there a saying about a cookie cutter something.....)

Ghost Hunting...Kinda.

To get into the holiday spirit of Halloween, I went along with a small group of friends to one of the scare/Halloween attractions we have around us. It was the Pennhurst Asylum, one of America's scariest haunted attractions.......let me just say, it was pretty darn good...

We got there later than we wanted to. My friend's dad couldn't get the e-tickets to print, so that held us an hour back. It's suppose to take an hour to get there from were Katie my friend lives but it some how ended up being longer than we thought. (I think we took the wrong exit...haha.) But anyway we mad it to Pennhurst.  All the events were really good.  I've a very jumpy person so I was jumping and screaming like crazy the whole way through the buildings. At least I wasn't the only one, maybe in my group but not the whole night.  hehe

The last attraction was a self-guided tour of the Mayflower building. This is apparently the most haunted building on the whole property.

These are some of the pictures from the Mayflower. The staircase that's at the end of the whole tour.

I feel like I can see shadow in the middle window...though I don't know if it's just me because I do want to see something.  Do you see anything??

I really like all these pictures. I like that all the chairs are lined up. It's one of the areas that has objects in it.

This one is really cute and sad. Imagine the children that were in this asylum....and get treated horrible...  To think 26 years ago people once did live in here, and it's just a (some what) empty building now..

I wish it wasn't so dark that I could have gotten a better shot inside and outside of the building. Old buildings are so cool to take pictures of.

I'm hoping to go to a couple more scary attractions till Halloween is over.  I definitely want to try more corn mazes. There's something about walking in the middle of corn with good friends and getting lost and now in the cooler weather.  LOVE IT!
Have you peeps been doing anything anything this October??

Get out there, have fun and be safe!

Mornings..

There's something really peaceful about waking up at 6 30 in the morning.

The world is still dark and sleeping.
Other little creatures are starting to wait up or already up looking for their morning grub. (Which now I'm on that hunt.)
You realize how fast the world really spins. One minute it will be dark seven minutes later it's ten times brighter than it was before.
Being thankful that you are able to start another day.

There's something  really peaceful about waking up at 6 30 in the morning. I just wish I could do it more often. Only up now because I have to go to work early.  hahah. I'm doing my best.

Good morning peeps!

New Project.

So I've had this knitting book for over a year, and I told myself that I will make this beautiful cable scarf. .....well I set it aside long enough.

So I started making this scarf. Now it has been forever since I looked at any yarn directions, but these weren't too bad. Until I had to start using the cable needle....
I literally took the same 3 rows out 10 different times..... I even started adding stitches cause that's the only way it would work. Once I got to the second part of the cable needle my additional stitches weren't working.....I was starting to regret ever wanting to do this project. So I waited until I could ask my mom.  She ended up reminding me to only repeat the steps that have the parentheses (that looks wrong...do you ever get that, or am I the only one?) around them.

That flipped the switch and once again to took the whole thing apart.   *sigh*

Thanks to my mom I finally had something started.   I was one happy camper!! It was really looking cool.
I couldn't put it down after that. Everyday after school, I would go and sit on my deck and knit in the beautiful late morning or early afternoon sun. That is if I didn't have to work...then I would either try to put a couple rows on or I would just wait for the next day.

I must say it's really coming along.  I haven't been doing much with it lately only because it's getting a little too warm to knit....maybe tomorrow after my riding lessons I will, hopefully it's nice weather.

My friend saw my pictures on instagram of my green one and wanted me to make her one, and for her I couldn't say no. And I also thought 'hey this could be part of her Christmas gift this year!' That's at least one person down....
So I sent her all the colors that they had of the yard I needed to use, and she picked a light brown color that I really like too.  I'm a little farther now on her scarf than in this picture, and I must say it's looking pretty good too.
I'm excited to get both of them done.  I'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

See you all soon!
